Enhancing the RestFul Rhapsody Monitoring API

Now that we have a Restful front end to the Rhapsody Monitoring API it can easily be enhanced to add functionality that would normally be done in a client. For instance, the Rhapsody Components web services “getAllComponents” operation returns as its name suggests all components. Often you want them filtered by component type or state that is now easy to do on the server side by adding the component type and state to the URL. This would look like http://hosting_server/API/server_queried/Components/getAllComponents/ALL/RUNNING
http://hosting_server/API/server_queried/Components/getAllComponents/ROUTES/ALL

This functionality is easily implemented using the XSLT Style sheet filter.
