Refactoring Interfaces

March 20, 2012 Leave a comment

Occasionally one gets an opportunity to take a new look at old interfaces. We are upgrading our GE Centricity system to version 6.9 and the interfaces in place today for the current version were some of the first we built with Rhapsody. They were ported from BizTalk 2002 with the NeoTool adapter. Having come from that mindset, the ported interfaces were built in away that did not take full advantage of the Rhapsody toolkit. It is a pleasure to go back with 5 years of Rhapsody experience and rework those interfaces removing complexity and simplifying them.
